I love this place. I have been ordering from here for years and not once have I had a problem. My order is always delivered super speedy; it's almost always less than thirty minutes. My order is always exactly right and I always find the pizza not too hot and not too cold.
Delivery people and people on the phone are always extremely courteous. I'm excited to try more menu items in the future.
I am convinces that the person who preferred Captain D's to Papa Rick's has HORRIBLE taste in food. Seriously, Captain D's?????

I dislike reviewing any restaurant. However, I had to rate this one. I will explain in detail from the time of the order until I consumed my meal from Papa Rick’s Pizza. The order process went smoothly. I was extremely famished and waited 1 hour for the food to arrive. The delivery person was friendly and helpful. The food was hot. I delved into my meal. I ordered the seafood platter along with sopapillas. The fish was dry and seems more batter was on the fish than there was fish itself. The French fries were not fully cooked (raw). The cole slaw was delicious. The cole slaw was the best I had tasted in a long time. They gave plenty of tartar sauce and other condiments with the food. I was excited that this restaurant made sopapillas so I ordered two orders. Sopapillas are difficult to find, so I thought it awesome that they sold these. Well, I was never so disappointed. I had lived in New Mexico for several years, I know what sopapillas are, I have prepared and cooked sopapillas the same way they were prepared in New Mexico. My former neighbor who is a Spanish woman had made them for me and she made awesome sopapillas. Rick’s gives you a great amount of sopapillas, but they were the worst I have ever had. Sopapillas acquired their name after soft little pillows. When I had these in New Mexico, they were soft and almost melted in your mouth and the same for my neighbors. They were awesome and something I never forget. Rick’s sopapillas are heavy and gooey bread dough that was tossed into a deep fryer. Real sopapillas are very soft and you do not have to tear them apart as Rick’s I did have to tear them apart and they were hard to tear apart. There was no zip to them. I was disappointed with Rick’s to say the least. I think Rick’s needs to take lessons in making sopapillas, because what Rick’s made was nothing like a sopapillas. Was not even close to a sopapilla. I will not order from this restaurant again. For what you pay which are high prices, it is not worth it because the food was awful. I went to Captain D’s and there fish I thought was awesome compared to Papa Rick’s. Captain D’s actually gives you sizeable fish at good prices. Their fish batter is awesome. I was impressed with Captain D’s. This is the first time I ate at these two restaurants and I would take Captain D’s over Papa Rick’s any time in regards to seafood.

Food is okay, delivery time is slow and it's kind of expensive for what you get. I ordered 10 mild wings and received the bbq wings instead. Disappointing.

They're incompetent. In the past, I've ordered with no problems. This time, the tacos were pretty much sparse and bare and they forgot a Pepsi but still charged me and promised patronizingly to give me another one seeing as I paid for it. I'll give them one more chance and then, if they don't become better, that's it for their business as far as I'm concerned.

The chicken was a little small for the $$ but good and crispy. I loved the triple cheese philly The bread was soft and crisp cheese and meat arrived hot

Very slow delievery. Had to call to check on the status of my order, thats not good. The food was ok, kinda what you get at a baseball game, nothin to die over, but thats all you get. Not worth the wait in my opinion. Would I try again....No.
